2026 NAAW PARADE

BC Walk and Roll Accessibility Parade

Thank You for Joining ORCAS at the 2026 NAAW Parade

The ORCAS Society of BC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2026 National Accessibility Awareness Week (NAAW) Parade and Community Event.

We were incredibly grateful to see so many people stop by our booth to learn more about ORCAS, ask questions, share stories, and support our mission of creating safer and more inclusive communities for individuals with Autism. Events like NAAW remind us how important community connection, accessibility, and understanding truly are.

Thank you to everyone who visited our tent, picked up swag, participated in conversations, and donated to support our work. Your encouragement and generosity help us continue building programs, educational resources, and partnerships that improve interactions between individuals with Autism and First Responders.

We would also like to recognize and thank our sponsors, donors, and supporters whose contributions helped make our participation in this event possible. Your support allows ORCAS to continue growing and reaching more individuals, families, and communities across British Columbia.

A huge thank you to Equal Access Collective’s President Susan Bains for inviting us to this great event.

To all the volunteers, community members, families, and advocates who attended and thank you for making the day so meaningful and memorable.

Together, we are building a future where safety begins with understanding.
