Connecting with White Rock Emergency Services

The ORCAS Society of BC was pleased to attend the White Rock Emergency Services Open House on September 12, 2026.

This community event provided a great opportunity to connect with local first responders, families, and community members while learning more about the important work of White Rock RCMP and White Rock Fire Rescue.

Events like this are an important part of building understanding and positive relationships between the Autism community and first responders. Familiarity with emergency personnel, vehicles, uniforms, and equipment can help individuals with Autism and their families feel more comfortable and prepared when interacting with emergency services.

We are grateful to White Rock RCMP and White Rock Fire Rescue for welcoming ORCAS and for their continued support of our work to promote Autism Safety and stronger connections between First Responders and the Autism community.
